Mt Cook View Motel is 2km down Cook Flat road from the town centre of Fox Glacier in beautiful rural settings with majestic views of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman. We are the closest motel to Lake Matheson. We offer quality spacious accommodation and all of our units have Sky TV, wireless internet and cooking facilities. There is a guest laundry for your convenience and continental breakfast can also be arranged. A DVD player is also available for hire. We have a 2 bedroom unit, suitable for up to 7 people. This unit has wheelchair access and a spa bath. There are 2 studio units one of them a spa bath unit and the other is a standard studio with a shower and this unit also has wheelchair access. Studio units sleeps up to 2 persons. Our last unit is a one bedroom unit that can accommodate up to 4 persons. This unit also has a spa bath with a shower over top. We can book your walks onto the Fox Glacier or you might like to take a scenic flight in one of the helicopters that does a snow landing. Taking a walk around Lake Matheson is a must for the great reflections of the Southern Alps, or you might like to relax in one of the lovely cafes or restaurants. We hope you will come and stay with us as we will make your stay a pleasurable one and ensuring that you take away some great memories of our little part of New Zealand and don't forget to bring your camera for some fantastic shots of Aoraki/Mt Cook and Mt Tasman. |

Our 2 bedroom unit has a queen bed and a single bed in one bedroom then it has the same in the other bedroom then there is a single bed in the living area. Cooking facilities, spabath, walk in shower, toilet and vanitiy unit, tv, table/chairs. Rates are for 4 people. Extra adults $20.00. Extra children $20.00. The room caters for a maximum of 7 adults, and a maximum of 5 children but cannot exceed 7 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

When you arrive into Fox Glacier turn down Cook Flat road, which is the one heading towards Lake Matheson, we are 2km down on the left. |

| Things To Do |
There are walks onto Fox Glacier or you can go on a heli hike. There are scenic flights over the glacier and the Southern Alps which also incudes Mt Cook and Mt Tasman. We have the world famous Lake Matheson just down the road from us that has amazing reflections of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman and also of the surrounding bush. There is Gillespies beach which is 21km drive and there are some neat walks out there including walking to the seal colony. There are also a few walks in the heart of Fox Glacier. |
