The Roselands – quiet AND central! Roselands Motel offers quality accommodation in one of Tauranga’s top locations. Relax and enjoy the tranquillity and cleanliness of this place while everything Tauranga has to offer is within a stone’s throw from your doorstep! We are the closest motel to Marina & Harbour, 500m to city shops, restaurants, cafés and waterfront, 100m to Tauranga Rugby Domain, 150m to Park Street Eye Clinic, 500m to Baycourt Theatre, 50 metres from Armitage Hotel/Conference Centre and a 10 minute walk to Sebel Trinity Wharf Conference Centre. For accommodation, we have 10 units which are serviced daily. The units comprises of 4 studio units which can sleep up to 3 persons and 6 one bedroom units which can sleep up to 4 persons. All units features fully equipped kitchen, microwave, shower, hairdryer, electric blankets, phone, dial-up and wireless high speed internet, 4-channel Sky TV, heating, iron & ironing board. Cot/highchair available free of charge. Also available, cooked/continental breakfast & home cooked meals, laundry, off-street parking, gas BBQ. | Getting There |
Arrival by bus (Intercity Coach or Naked Bus): Your bus will stop at the Visitor Centre (i-Site) in Willow Street in the heart of Tauranga. Walk 500 metres uphill along Willow Street (to the very North End of Willow Street) and you will see us across the road, hidden under some beautiful, big trees. Driving from Auckland (State Highway 2): Roselands Motel Tauranga is located approximately 200 kms south of Auckland. The most scenic route takes you along State Highway 2 through Karangahake gorge and then along the coastal road. You will approach Tauranga via Waihi Road and Tamatea Arikinui Drive. Take a left onto Speedway 2A (Takitimu Drive). At the roundabout leave the Expressway towards City Centre of Tauranga. At the red lights turn left into Cameron Road (our main road through Tauranga). Follow Cameron Road almost to the end and then turn east (right) into Park Street and then left into Willow Street. Follow Willow Street to the very end and you will find the Roselands Motel Tauranga accross the intersection. Drive in, stop at the reception for check-in at one of the quietest motels in Tauranga and enjoy. Driving from Hamilton (State Highway 29): As you come down the Hill from Tauriko towards Tauranga you turn left on the first roundabout onto Cameron Road (our main road in Tauranga). Follow Cameron Road almost to the end and then turn east (right) into Park Street and then left into Willow Street. Follow Willow Street to the very end and you will find the Roselands Motel Tauranga accross the intersection. Drive in, stop at the reception for check-in at the best located motel in downtown Tauranga and enjoy. Driving from Rotorua (State Highway 2): Coming from Rotorua via State Highway 2 via Te Puke you travel towards Mount Maunganui and turn left at the roundabout in Te Maunga (at the Baypark Stadium). At the next roundabout take a right with the stadium on your left. Follow the road over two bridges into Fifteenth Avenue until you get to the major intersection with Cameron Road. Turn right into Cameron Road (our main road in Tauranga). Follow Cameron Road to the very end and turn east (right) into Park Street and then left into Willow Street. Follow Willow Street to the very end and you will find the Roselands Motel Accommodation accross the intersection. Drive in, stop at the reception for check-in at Tauranga's best situated motel and enjoy. Driving from Tauranga Airport: Drive out from the Airport (either on Aerodrome Road or Jean Batten Road) and take a left turn onto Hewletts Road. Go straight at the following red lights and cross the harbour bridge to Tauranga. After the bridge you get to a roundabout where you take a left. After the ramp you get to an intersection with red lights, take a left and drive uphill (Chapel Street). Remain on the left lane and turn left into Brown Street. Roselands Motel Accommodation will be after 200 meters on your left. Drive in, stop at the reception for check-in at our friendly motel and enjoy. |
