Pendower House, a lovely 1890s Bed & Breakfast Country House located in the Spa Capital of Australia – Daylesford. Set in a quiet street, Pendower House is a short stroll from cafes, restaurants, galleries, shops, Lake Daylesford, and the Botanic Gardens. Our Victorian House provides queen/double/twin accommodation as well as a luxurious Spa Suite. Each room offers private ensuites, quality linen, toiletries and antique furnishings. The lounge room is centred around the open fire, a relaxing room to reflect the day, to sit with a glass of port, listen to some music and peruse the eclectic library. Our delicious breakfast menu consists of fresh fruit, juices, cereals, crepes, eggs with crispy bacon, lemon pepper mushrooms, herb tomatoes - all dishes are cooked to order. Our Spa Suite provides the ultimate in peace, privacy and pampering. It offers a corner double spa, heating/air conditioning, sitting room, walk-in robe, TV/DVD, queen bed and a galley kitchen, with tea/coffee facilities, (We serve a cooked breakfast to the suite after all, who could imagine having to cook while on a short break!) |

115km from Melbourne (75 min). Via either the Calder Freeway (Woodend) or Western Hwy (towards Ballarat). Watch for signs directing you to Daylesford. From Bendigo (70 min) via Castlemaine or Ballarat (40 min) on Midland Hwy. Easy from Castlemaine or Ballarat. A two minute walk from the Daylesford bus station and main street. |

| Things To Do |
Enjoy the New Spa Resort and its state of the art facilities. Explore the Convent Gallery, bric-a-brac Sunday market, beautiful Lake Daylesford as well as the town centre. There are many restaurants, cafes, art galleries, health food stores, specialist shops (book shop, chocolate shop, pooch shop, jewellery shop and famous glass blower just to name a few) moments walk to the main street. All these places are only a short stroll away. Hepburn Spa Resort 3km drive, or the Lavender Farm is under 10km from Pendower House. Chocolate Mill is 10 minutes drive, Golf, Bushwalks from easy strolls to longer walks. Wineries a 12-25km pretty drive away - just ask for directions. |
