Peaceful and quiet B&B accommodation with shared facilities. Rooms have a hand wash-basin. Fully licensed with a cafe open 7 days and dinners available by arrangement. The homestead sits in a predator-free environment with wonderful forest walks. The forest is home to "Ratanui" which is believed to be the largest northern rata in New Zealand. Many endangered birds can be seen such as kiwi, saddleback, north island robin, wood pigeon etc. Just 20 minutes from Wanganui with widespread views across the countryside. Spring is Special
Spring is special when you stay in the historic homestead. Quiet location with country views. Continental breakfast included. Bathrobes provided. Beautiful forest track walks with many endangered birds. Fully licensed and evening meals by arrangement. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $55.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 3 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

From the settlement of Kai Iwi (10 minutes north of Wanganui) turn inland down Rangitatau East Road and travel for 8 kilometres. Bushy Park is on your left - just 10-15 minutes drive. A courtesy van is available from the city if required. |
