All cabins have full cooking facilities. Enjoy a dip in our new pool with spa or cook up a barbeque in the adjacent gazebo or just sit on your cabin verandah and enjoy a drink and relax. |

| Getting There |
From the East (Townsville direction) Take the heavy vehicle by-pass (Flinders Highway)to the left as you come into Charters Towers and look for our sign 4.5 km along the by-pass. From the West (and the south Emerald, Clermont) Pass the Mobil 24 hour truck stop as you enter Charters Towers and take the first turn to the right 500 metres past the truck stop. Then the first turn to the left and you will see us in front of you. From the North (Greenvale, Mt Suprise etc.) Follow the signs through Charters Towers to "Hughenden - Clermont" until you reach the by pass. Turn to the right on the by-pass and our sign are approximately 500 metres on the left hand side. For those with GPS navigation our co-ordinates are: Lat 20' 05 58 30S Lon 146' 15 64 10E |

| Things To Do |
Around the area you can visit the historic towns of Pentland, Homestead and Ravenswood, picnic at picturesque Fletcher Creek, bushwalk in White Mountains National Park and enjoy the mighty Burdekin River Dam and Weir, where you can try your luck fishing for a barramundi or just enjoy boating and picnicking. Lissner, Defiance Mill and Centenary Parks are ideal for a picnic or a shady, leisurely stroll whilst out and about enjoying our city. Lissner Park comprises of 7 acres with Band Rotunda, playground, Rotary Centenary Fountain, Federation Fountain, duck pond, WW1 guns and memorials which are lit up at night for perfect evening picnics. Next to Lissner Park is the swimming pool complex. Defiance Mill Park is a newer park catering to older children with a skate bowl and bike areas. Currently 40% of the towns treated waste water is used for the watering of parks and sporting fields. |
