Located in the city centre of Catania and considering its proximity to the excellent transport network - underground, bus stop and Circumetnea, this hotel presents a comfortable base for a moment of relax and an active break. At a distance of 1 Km from the most interesting spots of the historical centre of Catania like Dome’s Square, Roman Amphitheatre, Bellini Theatre and all the various monuments and churches of interest, you can have a nice time in the distinctive surroundings and Catania’s life. From the airport Fontanarossa, (at 6/7 km away from Hotel La Vecchia Palma) , take the bus called Alibus (bus n. 457) for Catania's centre, then stop at the railway station. From the railway station (Stazione Centrale di Catania) in Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII (at 2/3 km away from the Hotel La Vecchia Palma), you can take any of the numerous buses (n° 429, 432, 449, 1-4) that reach Via Etnea, 668 (the stop is just in front of the hotel). Elsewhere, you can take the underground inside the railway station. Take to the direction and stop of BORGO, the station is located at a few steps from the Hotel. If you are coming by car, please follow the instruction below: Continue along STRADALE PRIMOSOLE Turn right to TREDICESIMA STRADA INDUSTRIALE Continue along VIA ACQUICELLA PORTO Turn right through VIA DOMENICO TEMPIO At the round about of PIAZZA BORSELLINO take the first exit to VIA CARDINALE DUSMET Arrived in the City centre of Catania in front of the railway station at the round about of PIAZZA GIOVANNI XXIII Take a left turn to VIALE DELLA LIBERTA Turn right to VIA FRANCESCO CRISPI Left to VIA UMBERTO Finally at the end ot this street turn on the right and on VIA ETNEA, continue along up to n° 668.
