The Cooks Oasis is situated on the sunset side of the island of Rarotonga, just 60 metres from a turquoise lagoon. Swimming, snorkelling or just lazing in the sun ... who could ask for more?

The Cooks Oasis is in the village Arorangi and is convenient to many amenities. There is a choice of good restaurants within easy walking distance, the Edgwater Resort (with bar) is just along the beach and the circle island bus stops at the end of the driveway.

The units are all self catering studios, so you can prepare meals in your unit rather than eat out all the time. There are small shops nearby for simple food needs and the CITC supermarket is just 4km away on the bus. Not to mention the Punanga Nui market for both fruit and vegetables and the vibrant South Pacific sounds, flowers, food stalls, black pearls, craft work and clothing.

Whilst a Cook Islands holiday for most is a matter of not doing very much, there are plenty of things to do for those that cannot sit still. Swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, tramping and fishing for the energetic and art galleries, churches, dance competitions and cultural displays for the less energetic.

The resort has kayaks, snorkeling equipment and bicycles free for guests to use.

For a rainy day, there is a family room with a range of games, TV and DVD player with a selection DVD's to choose from. Also available is a good library of books and a table tennis table.

Self catering studio unit. Ideal for a family group of up to 4 persons or for friends travelling together. Rooms are painted in cool, light colours and dressed in island style tie-dye curtains and bed spreads.
Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $10.00. Extra children $10.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 4 guests in total.
