Sweets Hill Bed and Breakfast is located on the corner of the Tasman Highway and Sweets Hill Road just 15 mins drive from the centre of St. Helens. This is a very tranquil place to be. Sweets Hill Bed and Breakfast offers country hospitality in a delightful rural setting. There are 5 rooms all designed for your comfort, each with ensuite. Each room has a maximum of 2 guests. Each room has its own private veranda, with comfortable chairs, just made for relaxing. All rooms are on the ground floor. Heather has a queen bed with a beautiful hand made quilt; this is a cosy room, good for retreating from the world. Maple has twin beds decorated with a hint of the Canadian Maritimes. Peony is a premier queen room, oriental themed decor and has a most beautiful hand made quilt. Blue Wren is a Premier Twin room styled on the most common garden visitor here Rose is a deluxe queen, based on the queen of garden flowers. It has a full disabled bathroom. The lounge has tea and coffee facilities, a microwave and a refrigerator. The guest lounge has a selection of board games and there are books in the breakfast room. A full, freshly cooked breakfast from our extensive menu is prepared to order. Home made muffins are baked each morning. There is a large selection of teas (pick a teapot from the collection to have it made in) and selection of coffees. There are large gardens - some original and more being developed. There is a barbeque. Sweets Hill is the closest Bed and Breakfast to St. Columba Falls, Halls Falls, the Pyengana Cheese factory - Holy Cow Cafe, and the Blue Tier. We are close to bush walking on the Blue Tier, there is game fishing from St Helens, and great surfing at Scamander. Local sightseeing includes the Bay of Fires, St. Columba Falls Georges Bay and The Pub in the Paddock Come enjoy the peace and quiet - the noisiest thing here is the occasional Kookaburra. |

From St. Helens take the A3 towards Scottsdale - 20 km (15 minute drive), turn at the Sweets Hill Bed and Breakfast sign (second Goulds Country turnoff) the drive way is 100m up the side road. From Scottsdale watch for the Sweets Hill Bed and Breakfast sign (the first Goulds Country turnoff) and the drive is 100m up the side road. |

| Things To Do |
The Blue Tier is the premier bush walking area for North-Eastern Tasmania. From a short stroll to multi-day hikes the Blue Tier has it all and wildlife too. In Pyengana the is the Pyengana Cheese Factory/Holy Cow Cafe and The Pub in the Paddock. Sweets Hill is 15 minutes from St. Helens, 20 mins fom St. Columba Falls, 10 mins from Pyengana, 10 mins from Hall Falls, 20 mins from the Blue Tier and 30 mins from the Bay of Fires. |
