Sullivans Cove Apartments is the winner of Tasmanian Tourism Awards 2009 in the category Best Luxury Accommodation. Choose from 2 and 3 Bedroom apartments right above the famous Salamanca Place, home of the markets held every Saturday, or on the art infused Hunter St overlooking Constitution Dock – home of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race each year. All apartments are easy walking distance to the city and feature the following amenities: • Premium and super-premium accommodation • Fully self contained with gourmet kitchens • Full laundry facilities • Highly secure • Most have private parking • Flat panel television with DVD and sound systems • In-house DVD and music libraries • Luxurious furniture and fittings • Waterfront and city locations – easy walk to city and waterfront from all apartments • Original artworks (some for sale) • Limited access apartments available IXL Apartments are located at Evans St behind the Henry Jones Art Hotel. 19 Hunter Apartments are located at 19 Hunter Street above the Drunken Admiral Restaurant. Dockside Apartments are located on Salamanca Place and Kelly Street Battery Point above Ball & Chain Restaurant. As Sullivans Cove Apartments are waterfront, be aware that there is occasional noise from the docks or general hustle and bustle of the city's waterfront. Apartments are normally serviced weekly for stays of up to 7 nights. For stays of 8 nights and more, apartments will be serviced every 4 days but additional serving can be organised at a cost of $120 per service. All guests must supply credit card details on check-in *** Please supply mobile phone number when booking *** Please note that as these are serviced apartments and not a hotel, reception operates during office hours (8.45am to 5.30pm). If arriving outside these times please ensure you have supplied a mobile number and made alternative arrangments for check in with the Manager. Phone the Sullivans Cove Apartment direct for more details. Please note that the apartment car parks are all a short drive from the Sullivans Cove Apartment office so please leave luggage in your car whilst checking in. Directions to the apartment car park will be given when checking in at the office. Sullivans Cove Apartments has a zero tolerance to excessive noise. If clients make any excessive noise they are asked to leave without the issue of a warning. Be conscious that this is a residential area and request that all of our guests treat this as such. | Getting There |
Check-in is located at 5/19a Hunter in the IXL Courtyard next to the Henry Jones Art Hotel on Hobart's waterfront. Look for the Sullivans Cove Apartments signs from Hunter Street, we are located on the first floor above the Masterpiece Fine Art Gallery. Arriving by car: If coming from the airport by car take signs to Hobart City, after crossing Derwent Bridge keep in the left lane and take the left turn into Evans St at the traffic lights (just before the waterfront). Take the first right off Evans St into Hunter St. Drive almost to the end of Hunter St and park in front of the Drunken Admiral Restaurant. Check-in is located in the courtyard between the Drunken Admiral Restaurant and the Henry Jones Art Hotel. Follow signs to Sullivans Cove Apartments. Leave your luggage in the car as you will be guided to the car park from the office when checking in. Arriving by taxi: Ask your Taxi driver to take you to the Henry Jones Art Hotel, Hunter St Hobart. Check-in is located in the courtyard between the Drunken Admiral Restaurant and the Henry Jones Art Hotel. Follow signs to Sullivans Cove Apartments. Bring your luggage and leave at the bottom of stairs if staying at 19 Hunter, bring your luggage up the stairs if staying in the IXL Apartments or leave in taxi and ask them to wait if staying at Dockside as these apartments are a short drive away.
