Central Motel is a small, friendly, family motel with 11 ground floor units. Parking is off street and directly in front of your room. Leave the car, save on parking and fuel costs and enjoy the easy 2 minute walk to all attractions including Marina, Dolphin and whale watching and award winning restaurants. All rooms are exceptionally clean and are equipped with tea/coffee facilities, toaster, irons, A/C, colour TV, separate bathroom and very comfortable bedding. All rooms are non-smoking with 1 room being equipped with a small kitchenette and a spa bath. Also available is a larger two room upstairs unit and an exceptional third floor, 2 bedroom, fully self contained unit. The unit is separate from the main building and has magnificent water views over the Nelson Bay harbour and marina. Rooms are supplied with DVD players and alarm/clock/radios. A limited supply of DVD movies is available at reception. A sparkling salt water pool is available for guests’ exclusive use. Barbeques facilities are available in the pool area. Continental Breakfast is available to your room at extra cost. A sparkling salt water pool is available for guests exclusive use. BBQ facilities are avaialable in the pool area. Owner lives on site and is available most times. Special requests such as flowers, ballons etc. In room at your arrival can be arranged. |

2 hours North of Sydney Follow F3 North to Pacific Higway and follow signs to Nelson Bay. Motel located in CBD on the corner of Church Steet and Government road. Directly opposite Police Station. Newcastle airport is located 20 minutes away with bus and taxi transfers available. Newcastle train station and then Port Stephens Coaches to Nelson Bay. Timetables and bookings are available from reception at time of booking. |

Port Stephens and Nelson Bay are known as the blue water paradise. Surrounded by a myriad of small secluded inlets offering sparkling waters and beaches among the best in Australia. Dolphin and whale watching are hugely popular between the months of May through to October in which an approximate 7,000 whales pass close by. Port stephens waterways are reknowned the world over for their natural and pristine beauty. Waters are alive with dolphins, sea turtles and a huge variety of big fat fish just to jump on you fishing line. Nelson Bay is serviced by a large number of quality restaraunts, ranging from affordable family friendly,to award winning international cusine. RSL and Bowling clubs very handy to Motel both with excellent entertainment and meal facilities. Water sports are in abundance with both powered and unpowered hire craft available at many locations. Stockton sand dunes are amongst the most spectacular sites in Australia. 32 kilometeres of constantly moving and changing sand dunes are serviced by several tour groups, offering services such as 4wd tours, sandboarding, camel and horseback adventures and fishing expeditions. The area is home to a large modern shoping mall, home to the major retail outlets and an enticing array of specialty shops and boutiques. For relaxation the area has several reputable day spas to sooth away the stress of everyday life. All in all "THE BAY" has something to offer everyone. Adrenalin junkies can grab their fix of high speed thrills while others choose to laze around on our golden beaches and swim in the crystal blue waters of Port Stephens. |
