You are assured of a warm welcome at Averill Court Motel located in Paihia, 100 metres from a safe swimming beach and a short beachfront walk to all cafes, restaurants and shops. There are 10 studio, 7 one bedroom and 1 two bedroom units available which are serviced daily, all with television, direct dial phone, dining and lounge furniture, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen facilities. Other facilities includes swimming pool, hot spa pool, tennis, internet access. We can help you with independent advice to plan and book your leisure activities to make the most of your time that you have available. Whether it be a fast boat or half day or full day cruise to 'The Hole in the Rock', or a leisurely day sail with island picnic, kayaks etc. All tour buses to Ninety Mile Beach and Cape Reinga pickup at the motel gate. The historical 'Waitangi Treaty Grounds' and ferry boats to Russell are only a short distance from the motel. Having lived in the area most of my life you can be assured you will be getting the most intimate and unbiased advice on any activities and points of interest in Paihia, Bay of Islands and Northland. |

From Auckland it is a 3.5 hour drive North. Kerikeri airport is a 20 minute taxi ride. Bus terminal is a 12 minute walk. Taxis are also available. |

Free off-street parking in front of units is available for guests. Free boat parking and visitor parking is also available off-street. |
| Things To Do |
Paihia is located in the beautiful Bay of Islands with its magnificent marine activities, scenery and early Maori and European historical sites. 'Hole in the Rock' day or half day cruises with dolphin watching or swimming are most popular. The nearby safe swimming beach has kayaking, sailboats, dinghy hire and parasailing. Historical Waitangi is a few minutes along the waterfront and the quaint little town of Russell with its history and its lovely waterfront cafes is a 15 minute ferryboat ride across the sparkling waters. From Averill Court Motel you can drive yourself or take one of the coach tours to Cape Reinga via Ninety Mile Beach and experience sliding down the giant sand dunes, visit a subtropical Kauri rainforest and the ancient Kauri Kingdom. All this whilst enjoying the ever changing scenery which makes New Zealand unforgettable. Kerikeri and its vineyards, kiwifruit and citrus fruit orchards, arts and crafts are just a 20 minute drive away. Scuba diving, helicopter and plane sightseeing, golf, sailing, walking tracks, sky diving, marlin or snapper fishing are some of the numerous activities right here on our doorstep. |
