Established in 2007, Peppers York Cove offers a superb location, with stunning views of the Tamar River, premium accommodation, conference facilities, marina, bar and restaurant. We currently offer 37 rooms ranging from our deluxe hotel room to a generous 3 bedroom apartment. A stones throw from the oversized balcony to the Majestic Tamar River, as well as beautiful manicured lawns, the apartments feature the latest kitchen, laundry and bathroom facilities. With ensuites, spas, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge, central heating and 3 underground car spaces you have everything you need. The luxurious and modern hotel room features King size bed, deluxe bathroom (with a bath!)separate shower and even features heated towel rails! In your room is central heating, a mini bar and kitchenette with room service from one of the finest Tasmanian restaurants at your fingertips - Cove Bar & Restaurant. | Getting There |
Peppers York Cove is situated in the tomwnship of George Town, which is situated on the Tamar River in northern Tasmania. York Cove is a leisurely drive situated 50kms from Launceston in Northern Tasmania. Local car hire is available from any of the airports that operate in Tasmania and transport to York Cove can be arranged if required by contacting York Cove direct. |

All of the Apartments offer private, off street parking. Free off-street parking for hotel guests, with up to 50 car spaces available. |
| Things To Do |
Make sure you don't miss any of our special attractions by starting at the George Town Visitor Centre, main road George Town. George Town is rich in history - in 1804 it became the third European settlement in Australia. The George Town Watch House has a model village of early George Town and a history room. A replica of the Norfolk, the sloop whose mission it was to determine if Tasmania was an island in 1798 is centrepiece of the Bass and Flinders Centre in George Town. More than 20 historic buildings can be found at Low Head, including maritime and local artefacts, along with the Low Head Lighthouse. York Cove provides and excellent place to start touring the Tamar Valley Wine Route with over 24 vineyards and cellar doors. Some of those being Bay of Fires, Pipers Brook, Delamere, Dalrymple, Jansz, Brook Eden and Providence. York Cove is a short drive of 50kms from Launceston, Tasmania’s second largest city, which itself has many attractions including the scenic Cataract Gorge, Cable Hang Gliding, many century-old parks and gardens, historic streetscapes and the premium food, wines and ales that Tasmania is famous for. |
