Close to all boutique shops and restaurants and ideally located as a base to explore the beautiful Bay of Islands and Northland. Only 5 minutes from Bay of Islands airport. Qualmark rated 4 star plus you can be assured to enjoy luxury, quality and comfortable self-contained cottages suitable for tourists, business and corporate executives, families and couples. The one bedroom cottages can sleep up to 4 guests on super king beds and sofa beds. Each cottage has a fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher and separate bathroom with bath and shower. Beautifully decorated, the stylish and contemporary decor is enhanced by teak furniture and solid gum flooring. TV, DVD and Wifi internet facilities are available in each cottage. Overlooking the Kerikeri golf course and spring fed lakes, streams and waterfalls, this 7 acre property has a very peaceful and relaxed magical setting. The meandering Puketotora River on the boundary lends itself for the perfect natural swim, fishing and kayak trip. The resort is based on the novel"The Mists of Avalon" and is a sanctuary away from the buzz of the outside world. Away from the noisy main road, the well spaced cottages provide plenty of privacy: enjoy the covered decks, with steps leading to your own gardens with sun loungers and safe parking at the back. The cottages are serviced daily and managers live on site, so free information about the region is provided and booking facilities are available to make the most of your holiday. |

| Getting There |
Avalon provides free pick up service from Kerikeri airport or bus terminal. Directions by car: on State Highway 10: turn right into Kerikeri at the roundabout. You're already on Kerikeri road. Keep driving for about 3 kilometres. You will find Avalon resort on your left hand side, 60 meters past the 50km zone sign next to the Kwan Garden Centre and the Kerikeri Bakehouse Cafe. |

From a sleepy small orchard town, Kerikeri has developed into a town that caters for the better qualities of life. Well known for its historic places, Kerikeri also offers: Local Art, Art and craft galleries and Art school, all present in the new Art trail, Wineries, the Chocolate factory, walking tracks, golf, and various boutiques and shops for health and body care. Horse riding, quad bike riding, mountain biking and parasailing are also available. |
