Lorne is located less than a two hour drive from Melbourne on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. Being an owner operated small business, Chatby Lane provides you with courteous, personal and professional service that exceeds your expectations. As travellers themselves, Doug & Karen look at Chatby Lane from the guests' perspective and are always working to improve on their already high standards of service and accommodation. Chatby Lane’s prize location gives our guests peace and quiet but is only a ten minute walk to the heart of Lorne. | Getting There |
Chatby Lane is located at 4 Howard Street, Lorne. As you drive into Lorne from Melbourne on the Great Ocean Road, turn onto the Deans Marsh Road at the first round about (just after the Swing Bridge). Howard Street is the second on the left (the next street after Minapre Street). The main car park entrance is on Howard Street, half way up on the right hand side. Please note some GPS systems may direct you to use Doble Street, it is easier to continue onto the start of Deans Marsh Road at the round about. Regular train/bus Vline services run from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne. |
