Directions from North Coast and Queensland to Macquarie Inn – Argenton Follow the Pacific Highway to Hexham once over bridge, turn left at traffic lights and continue on the Pacific Highway towards Newcastle. At third set of traffic lights turn right onto Sandgate Road and continue pass cemetery, over train lines and veer left on to Jesmond by-pass, then follow to large roundabout and turn right onto Newcastle Road and go through 2 sets of traffic lights and a small roundabout. Continue and turn left at a large roundabout onto Thomas Street and follow through to Lake Road and turn left. Stay on this road for approx 10km and turn right into Club Macquarie. The Macquarie Inn is located at the rear of the Club Macquarie. Directions from NorthWest to Macquarie Inn at Argenton Follow the New England Highway through to Maitland, continue and follow signs to Thornton and to Sydney Freeway, turn right at traffic lights onto Weakleys Dr, go through 2 roundabouts onto the freeway continue and exit onto the Wallsend Newcastle Link Road, follow to 2nd exit to Minmi Rd continue and turn left on to Main Road ( Edgeworth Pub on corner ) at traffic lights, continue through 2 sets of traffic lights until you come to a roundabout and turn right into Frederick Street follow through to roundabout and turn right onto Lake Road continue about 2kms and turn right into Club Macquarie and the Macquarie Inn is located at the rear of the Club. Directions from Sydney to Macquarie Inn in Argenton Follow the F3 freeway from Sydney to Newcastle to the Cardiff Exit onto George Booth Dr (this road turns into Main Road) follow signs to Cardiff / Glendale, continue along Main Road, follow through a to traffic lights and turn right into Frederick Street, continue through to a large roundabout and turn right onto Lake Road, continue about 2kms then turn right into Club Macquarie. The Macquarie Inn is located at the rear of Club. Directions from Newcastle Airport to Macquarie Inn – Argenton When leaving the airport turn right onto Nelson Bay Road, continue to roundabout and turn right onto Cabbage Tree Rd ( this turns into Tomago Rd ) follow through to Pacific Highway and turn left at traffic lights, continue over the Hexham Bridge and turn left at traffic lights, continue along the Pacific Highway towards Newcastle at 3rd set of traffic lights turn right onto Sandgate Road continue past cemetery, over train lines and turn left onto the Jesmond By-pass, follow along to large roundabout and turn right onto Newcastle Road go through 2 sets of traffic lights and a small roundabout continue and turn left at large roundabout onto Thomas Street follow through to Lake Road and turn left, stay on this road for approx 10km and turn right into Club Macquarie.
