The George is the best value budget accommodation located in the City of Sydney. The George has been renovated to give it a modern boutique feel, whilst retaining its Victorian Heritage splendor. Our 57 rooms are clean and tastefully furnished for your enjoyment. The George has a warm friendly atmosphere which brings back our regular guests from all over the World. We are easy to find at 700A George Street, Sydney. Which is just a five minute walk from Central Station. Our facilities include 24 hour security access, extended reception hours, tour and transfer bookings, fully-equipped kitchen, relaxing waiting lounge, laundry, FREE tea and coffee, FREE broadband internet/email and FREE luggage storage. All the city of Sydney has to offer is at your door including great restaurants, cheap eats at China Town, theaters, movies, the Entertainment Center, live bands, Sydney Opera House, Harbor Bridge, Centerpoint Tower, great shopping, Paddy's Markets, museums, Sydney Aquarium, Taronga Zoo, Manly and Bondi Beaches and lots more... Note: This property does have some room types that do not have private ensuites or bathrooms, however communal facilities are available. From the AIRPORT: travel via taxi or shuttle bus is 25 minutes, or the Airport Link train takes approximately 15 minutes to Central Station. From CENTRAL STATION: a five minute walk north along George Street to 700A. We are located in between Campbell and Goulburn Streets. |
| Parking |
Secure parking is available at Capitol Square Car Park which is 100 meters from our door and located next to the Capitol Theatre at 13 Campbell Street, Sydney. The overnight rate is $25 for our guests. We just stamp your ticket. |
