Brinkley Resort is a Methven accommodation resort and conference centre situated beneath Mount Hutt in Mid Canterbury the alpine heartland of New Zealand. We feature a total of 80 self contained apartments comprised of 40 studios and 40 quality two bedroom apartments. We also have full laundry facilities in each apartment and the two bedroom apartments all contain spa baths, ideal for relaxing in. Once you arrive, there is no need to leave with our award winning restaurant and licensed bar Shackleton's (open during winter months Wed-Sun, please contact us directly for summer hours), spa pools, floodlit tennis court, BBQ and childrens playground. You can even fly directly from our exclusive helipad at the resort to Mt Hutt. We are lucky to be surrounded by golf courses, walking tracks, high country lakes and rivers offering world class fishing and of course views of Mt Hutt in our stunning backyard! |

Our modern Convention Centre hosts from 10 to 150 delegates with state of the art technical equipment, full in house conference support, on site catering and only one hour away from Christchurch airport. Brinkley Resort is the ideal venue for your next function or seminar. Our conference facility is designed to achieve results supporting up to 120 delegates Boardroom style, 150 theatre style or our centre can be or subdivided into three separate rooms with the use of sound proof partitions. The conference area has underfloor heating and our technical equipment includes an electronic whiteboard, a superb sound system with wireless microphone, slide and overhead projectors, lectern, whiteboards, flipcharts, 21 inch TV and video combination, facsimile and photocopying service. | Getting There |
We are 1 hour South of Christchurch Airport and situated at the foot of Mount Hutt Ski slopes. Simply follow Highway 1 South to Rakaia for 1/2 hour and turn right at the Mobil Roadhouse or Big Salmon at Rakaia. Travel on this road for 1/2 an hour and look for the Methven sign. Brinkley Resort is on your right as you drive into the village. |

| Things To Do |
The Resort is ideally situated for easy access to the Mount Hutt ski area, Rakaia Gorge fishing areas, stunning Methven Golf Course and numerous outdoor pursuit activities. We are directly opposite Hot Air Ballooning. |
