Bayview Apartments,boasting a superior location, are situated opposite the lake, with the entrance & main beach beside & behind us. We are a complex of seven, fully self contained, sunny, north facing, non smoking apartments, with fishing trips & charter boats departing right near your doorstep. Enjoy the sounds of the surf, the night lights & the ever-changing views of the lake from your private balcony/patio. Look across & watch the children at play on the sandy shore of the lake, relax at the waters edge, feed the pelicans or fish from the jetty. Gather your beach gear & walk across the sand dunes to the ocean, or just laze around the pool. Take a 15 minute easy walk into town to shops, clubs restaurants & clubs. We have five - 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, and two - 2 bedroom 1 bathroom, north facing units. All with spas,single bathroom unit has the shower over the spa. Main bedroom includes queen size bed, most with ensuite, second bedroom has 2 single beds. Total occupancy is 4. Apartment facilities include: *Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & microwave. *TV, VCR, DVD/CD player & free Austar. *Each apartment has its own laundry, including washing machine & clothes dryer. *Solar heated pool, off street parking for 1 car per apartment,extra parking off site. BBQ area, and some boat parking available. *Linen/bath towels & high chair supplied. Beach towels not supplied. ANY CLOSER TO THE WATER & YOU'D GET YOUR FEET WET! |

| Getting There |
If driving to Merimbula, we are 7hrs from Melbourne, 6hrs from Sydney and 2½ hrs from Canberra. Regional Express Airlines has services from both Melbourne and Sydney daily and several bus companies run services from Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne. Bayview is located on the Fishpen area between the lake and the ocean (Victorian side of the bridge). Continue along Fishpen Rd to the point. |

| Things To Do |
Fantastic beaches, restaurants, shopping, surfing, diving, fishing, bush walks and mountain bike riding. Great golfing and bowls with various tournaments and pro-ams each year at the 4 major courses close by. The whale watching season is from September to November. Take a whale watching cruise or walk the headlands and beaches to watch these amazing creatures perform right in front of you. The annual jazz festival over June long weekend is a great week in Merimbula, with musicians from all over flocking here. Mambo sponsors 2 major surf competitions in Merimbula - the Merimbula Malibu (long board) competition and the Merimbula sail board and kite surfing competition. There is great fishing and, with various charter boats operating, they can help you catch everything from the humble flathead to the mighty marlin. |
