Vineyard Cottages offers romantic boutique cottages for couples and families in Ballandean - the heart of the Granite Belt's premium wineries and close to Girraween National Park. Guests are pampered with daily servicing and delicious meals from the acclaimed on-site restaurant specialising in fresh local produce and the best Granite Belt wines. Breakfast on house made muesli's, fresh fruits, eggs from "happy chooks" and locally smoked bacon. Dinner is available to guests 7 days and may be served in the restaurant, to your cottage, at a table set in the garden, or, if you are lucky, at a table set beside the fire in the guest's lounge. The cottages are set for privacy in 3 acres of gardens with some of the best distance views in the region. The Queen Cottages feature a seperate living room, a Queen bedroom, and double spa bath with a shower over. The King Terraces offer a large open plan room with a King bed, a seperate small kitchenette, and a single spa bath and walk in shower. The Two Bedroom Cottage has a Queen bedroom, bathroom and living room on the ground floor and a Queen bed, a single bed and ensuite bathroom upstairs. Most of the cottages also have a sofa which converts to a double bed to accommodate twin share or children. One of the King terraces is suitable for wheelchair access, with adjacent parking, wheelchair accessible bathroom, and a shower chair. |

2 Bedroom Cottage
Individual cottage with queen bedroom, bathroom and living room on the ground floor plus an upstairs bedroom with a queen and a single bed and ensuite bathroom. Rates are for 4 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $15.00. The room caters for a maximum of 7 adults, and a maximum of 5 children but cannot exceed 7 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
By Road: From Brisbane: Take the Cunningham Highway travelling west through Ipswich and Aratula, and climb the Great Dividing Range through picturesque Cunnighams Gap. pass through the rainforest at the top of the Gap followed by patchwork farmland of the Southern downs to the historic town of Warwick. From Warwick: Travel south along the New England Highway towards Stanthorpe. Continue on the Highway as it bypasses Stanthorpe for a further 19km to the village of Ballandean. Vineyard Cottages is on your right as you enter Ballandean. It is safer to continue past us for 300m and turn right at the primary school into Bents Road where there is a pull off lane, then right again at the next intersection into Gianini Lane. From here it is only a short distance to Vineyard Cottages alternative entrance. From The Gold Coast; Travel via Nerang, Canungra, Beaudesert and Boonah and join the Cunningham Highway just east of Aratula. Continue on to Warwick then south to Stanthorpe and Ballandean as per the instructions from Brisbane. From Byron Bay: Go via Lismore to Casino then follow the Bruxner Highway to Tenterfield. From Tenterfield head north on the New England Highway. You will cross the border into Queensland at Wallangarra. Ballandean is the next village on the highway after Wallangarra, 15kms to the north. Vineyard Cottages is located on your left on the northern outskirts of Ballandean. From Sydney: Take the New England Highway north from Sydney travelling via the Hunter Valley, Tamworth, and the university city of Armidale. The open grazing landscape gives way to bush and majestic granite outcrops as soon as you cross the border into Queensland at Wallangarra. Vineyard Cottages is located on your left on the northern outskirts of Ballandean, 15km north of Wallangarra. |

Vineyard Cottages is ideally located to explore the many premium wineries of the Granite Belt with 15 wineries within a 5 km radius. 7km to the south is the turn off to Girraween National Park which is noted for spectacular granite outcrops, birdlife and wildflowers. For some rugged 4 wheel driving, Sundown national Park is a 10 minute drive to the west.
