Tropical Gateway Motel is located on the Southside of Rockhampton City just 2km from the CBD and the riverfront. We are offering 26 comfortable rooms all fitted with air conditioning, Austar, tea and coffee making facilities, iron & ironing board, private ensuite, wireles broadband plus other features. Rooms are available either on the ground or first floor. All rooms are non smoking. Our licenced restaurant is located above the reception overlooking the highway.It is open Monday to Frday from 6.00 pm. Our guests can enjoy Continental or Hot breakfast daily from 7.00am - 8.45am. Room service is also available for your meal or breakfast. The restaurant is also available for meetings outside breakfast and dinner times. White board and overhead projector screen available free of charge. During the hot summer months cool down in the saltwater swimming pool. You would have plenty to do when you are staying here as there are plenty of local atractions and also you can combine your business interest too. You can visit the beaches at Yeppoon or spend a day at the Keppel Island. Enjoy your night at the Great Western Hotel (Bull ridding) or visit the Grasemere Saleyards just 10km away. We are on the left side of the Bruce Highway comming from the south, just 100 metres from the Shell station and opposite from O'Brien windscreens when you are comming from the north. A U-turn facility is available about 50 metres after the O'Brien. Also we are only 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from the airport by car. |

We are located close to hospitals, schools and the city. Have a game of golf at Rockhampton Golf course or visit the Botanical gardens right next door. Enjoy the bull ridding at Great Western Hotel or visit the Allenstown pub and the Woolworths shopping centre next door. If you are after business there is plenty of local business across the road such as: - O'Brien windscreens - Tropical Auto group - The Warehouse - Clark Rubber - ARB Plus many other within walking distance from the motel. Other interesting places within a short drive are: - 10km Grasemere Saleyards - 20km Stanwell - 30km Yeppoon for beautifull beaches and also your gateway to Great Keppel Island. - 30km to the caves, a must see attraction. |
