Originally built as a substantial family home in the late 1920's, the English cottage style home was later extended and converted to accept "paying guests" in its 12 quaint and uniquely styled bedrooms all with ensuite bathrooms.

Check In Instructions Reception is open from 8am - 7pm daily. If you require early check-in or late check out, we have a day rate of NZ$65 per couple. We can store luggage for you on arrival or on departure so you can enjoy another full day in Auckland before your flight

Getting There From Auckland International Airport. Either take a taxi (approx $75); or Shuttle (approx $30 per person); or Hire Car: Exit the airport turning left onto the main road … travel straight ahead, taking the South Western motorway heading North - it will be signposted AUCKLAND and it is motorway #20.

Once you have crossed over the Mangere Bridge take the QUEENSTOWN ROAD exit.
At the top of the hill turn RIGHT - it will be sign posted AUCKLAND.

You are now in PAH ROAD. Continue on this road through the suburbs of Royal Oak and Epsom.

The road then becomes MANUKAU ROAD. When the road reaches Newmarket it's name changes again to BROADWAY. You will be travelling through a major shopping precinct.

Once through Newmarket the road yet again changes name to PARNELL ROAD.

At the intersection of Parnell Road and St Stephens Avenue, turn right.
The Holy Trinity Cathedral will be on your right.

Take the first right turn into BRIGHTON ROAD.
Chalet Chevron is located on the left hand side at #14.

From the train station - best to take a taxi (10 min ride). You could walk - takes about 45-60 mins.

From the Bus Centre - either take a taxi (a 10-15 min ride) or catch the Link Bus which will drop you off at the "Cathedral top of Parnell Road" and you can walk the last 500 metres down St Stephens Avenue - Brighton Rd is 1st on the right.

Full cooked breakfast including Free Range Eggs & Free Range Bacon; whole fruit; juice; range of breads to toast; cereals ...each room has tea/coffee making facilities, phone, colour TV. We can do your laundry @ NZ$6 wash & NZ$6 dry.
Parking Free on-site and free 24/7 kerbside parking.
