Discovery Holiday Parks - Longreach a 3.5 star AAA rated oasis in the centre of the outback, situated in Longreach in Outback Queensland. The property grounds cover an area of 10 hectares (25 acres). The Park offers a large variety of self contained cabins and villas with parking right outside your door. Our park has a swimming pool and lovely spa area to relax and enjoy the Outback. Internet kiosks & wireless internet available (fees apply). We do not accept cabin bookings for guests travelling with pets. Facilities also include the Woolshed (Open from April to September) where you can enjoy a home cooked meal during your stay and nightly entertainment. Discovery Holiday Parks - Longreach is also the perfect location to base yourself in Longreach. There are many sites to see and places of interest to visit while in Longreach. The Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and the Qantas Airport and Museum are both within walking distance from the park. |

Discovery Holiday Parks - Longreach is just off the Landsborough Highway on the Eastern side of Longreach. The park is a short distance from the airport, train station and from the business centre of Longreach. |

| Things To Do |
Full day or half day tours can be organised in and around Longreach. Discover life in the Outback with a visit to the Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Museum. Learn about education in the Outback with a guided tour of School of the Air, enjoy a scenic helicopter flight over Longreach and then treat yourselves to a spectacular sunset cruise on the Thomson River. For those who would like to be transported back in time, you can enjoy a night out under the stars with Cobb & Co coaches, or just take a ride around the streets of Longreach in the old coach. Enjoy a cuppa at any of fabulous coffee shops in Longreach after visiting the powerhouse museum and the Longreach Arts and Cultural centre. |
