| Getting There |
From Sydney drive to Canberra then Cooma and on to Jindabyne and Thredbo. The drive is about 5 hours (plus stops) from the centre of Sydney. Finding Squatter's Run Squatter's is situated above the main pedestrian Village Mall. As vehicles are not permitted in the Village Mall, when arriving by car drive along the main road, which loops inside the village. You will pass the car parks on your left; chairlifts on your right; go under the overhead footbridge; then pass the Church and Credo restaurant on your right. The road then loops back on itself and traverses the village. Squatters will be on your left about centre of the village (see photos on web-site). Our reception is on the road level behind the sandstone wall. Check in here and then park your car. If you are arriving after 5 pm just call ahead and let us know and we will leave your key for you at reception. Once you are settled you can open a glass of wine or relax with a cup of tea and start enjoying your holiday! |
