The historic mill, 1868, has been re-developed into twelve stunning apartments and guesthouses. Each apartment is individually appointed. The renovated mill buildings boast romantic balcony’s, mezzanine and attic bedrooms, secluded courtyards, private roof terraces and wide verandas, all nestled in a magical garden setting. The new buildings provide a modern, respectful counterpoint. The courtyard offers picturesque BBQ areas and comfortable outdoor dining/lounge settings. All our units, from the smallest Executive Studio’s (a spacious 43.5 sq metre) to the larger Ceo Suites and Guesthouses, are rated four and a half star. The accommodation is self-catering including generous breakfast provisions, spas, business and laundry facilities. The Sir Chester Manifold Suite has been designed as a five star luxury penthouse retreat. We provide unique, self-catering accommodation for business travellers, for romantic escapes, family getaways, holidaymakers, tourists and motoring enthusiasts. In Room Facilities: Self catering - fully equipped kitchens with all utensils and electrical appliances, large fridge, dishwashers, microwave. 2 person spa. Open plan living with dining area and leather lounges. Home entertainment system; TV/DVD/CD. Complete laundry & ironing facilities. Reverse cycle air conditioning. Free Austar and wireless broadband internet. *One of our beautiful new ground floor apartments, Purrumbete Gatehouse, has an elegant large open shower room - rather than a spa. This facility offers greater access for anyone with disabilities. Reception for The Mill is at the Commercial Hotel, located in the main street, opposite the War Memorial. If you are travelling into town from Melbourne, Geelong, Ballarat, Port Campbell and the Great Ocean Road it is the first hotel you arrive at, it has a large striped veranda festooned with hanging baskets. If you are travelling from Warrnambool or Hamilton it is the hotel one block east of the clock tower. The Mill is one block further east of the hotel. |

Camperdown is on the Princes Highway. Melbourne-Geelong-Colac-Camperdown-Terang-Warrnambool. Reception for The Mill is in the Gaming Room of the Commercial Hotel, located in the main street, opposite the War Memorial. The Mill is located off the main Princes highway in the quiet heritage listed precinct of Curdie Street, overlooking an avenue of oaks, 500m east of the Clock Tower and Post Office. It has been said; “If you can hear the traffic noise you’re dreaming.” A 200m short stroll takes you to Manifold Street and the town’s hotels, cafés and stores. The Railway Station is within 750m. Melbourne is some 130 minutes. Regional centres of Ballarat Geelong and Hamilton 75 minutes. Warrnambool 45 minutes, Colac 30 minutes, Port Campbell 35 minutes. |
