Discovery Holiday Parks - Lake Bonney is situated in the heart of the Riverland, central to Renmark Waikerie Berri and Loxton,most tourist attractions and offers a picturesque setting for a caravan, camping or accommodative holiday. Barmera has a Mediterranean type climate and more sunshine hours than the Gold Coast. The park is located on the shores of Lake Bonney and attracts tourists and holiday makers all year round. Cobdogla and Kingston on Murray are just down the road and home to the mighty Humphrey Pump and Kingston winery. Banrock station winery and wetland centre is a ten minute drive. |

Discovery Holiday Parks - Lake Bonney is very well sign posted when travelling on the Sturt highway through Barmera. Roughly half way between Mildura and Adelaide Barmera is ideally situated to break a trip and enjoy our beautiful park. |

Barmera is central to the riverlands so visiting all the activities on offer is easy.There are many cellar doors & local produce outlets in close proximity to Barmera. Banrock station wine & wetland centre is just a stones throw down the road,fishing,boating & sailing on the lake and river fun activities for kids & adults alike. River cruises will show visitors the full expanse of the Mighty Murray and the many wetlands of the area. With some of the Murray River's most dramatic scenery,a remarkable diversity of wildlife,protected areas plus tour operators & landowners commited to enviromental sustainability, the Riverland will provide you with an unforgettable experience. Remark Berri Loxton and Waikerie are all with in 30 minutes drive from Barmera. Cobdogla and Kingston-on-Murray are only 10 minutes away. |
