By car from Auckland: Follow State Highway 1 northwards, leave SH1 at Kawakawa onto SH16 (signposted Bay of Islands/Russell/Opua). Drive to Opua, turning right down hill to the car ferry. Take car ferry (scenic 10 minutes crossing) to Okiato on the Russell Peninsular. Follow main road to Russell (8 kms). Drive into Russell along the main York street, go past all the shops, and turn left at the crossroads into Wellington Street. Continue up the short hill until you have a tree clad reserve on the left and we are at number 71 on the right. A warm welcome awaits you! |
