The Barossa Valley Tourist Park is located in Nuriootpa in the picturesque Barossa Valley 80km north of Adelaide. The tourist Park is AAA 4 star rated with 15 ensuite cabins rated AAA 3 to 4 stars. All cabins are completely self-contained with the 3½ star cabins featuring made double beds, the 4 star cabins feature made queen size beds. Of the 15 cabins, 9 have two bedrooms. The Park is located on over 20 shaded acres adjacent to a reserve and next to the high class town ovals and tennis courts, which are available to our guests at most times. There are 2 well equipped children’s playgrounds on site as well as Internet facilities, 3 enclosed BBQ areas, a spacious camp kitchen, 3 amenity blocks & 3 laundries. If friends wish to come with you we also have more than 120 shaded powered sites, for camping and caravanners. There are beautiful walking and cycling tracks accessed from the Park. The Barossa also provides some great scenic drives which cover places like Angaston, Menglers Hill Lookout, Tanunda, Seppeltsfield and so on. The Barossa can be your base to the beautiful Adelaide Hills, Adelaide itself, or the Clare Valley. Nuriootpa is located at the northern end of the Barossa Valley and within 5 minutes drive of winery icons such as Penfolds and the Wolf Blass Visitors centre. Our reception provides visitors with local tourist information brochures, winery tour information, along with up to date menus from many of the Barossas eating houses. |

From Adelaide travel north on the Sturt Highway from Gawler, ignore first Nuriootpa Greenock interchange, take second Nuriootpa exit from Sturt Highway (Old Kapunda Road). Drive up old Kapunda Road (TAFE College on left) to traffic lights, through this intersection (Nuriootpa High School on left) Take second entrance into Tourist Park, Reception is on your left. |
