A 3 Star Qualmark rated hotel, Four Canoes Hotel is the only hotel in New Zealand to build its own traditional Wharenui (Maori Meeting House) for conferences and Maori Concerts. Only 5mins walk from city centre and 10mins to all major attractions, Four Canoes is situated in an ideal location. We cater to sports teams, tour groups, senior citizen groups, conference groups, team building groups, corporate and free independent travellers. The Hotel consists of 66 units in total, 49 Hotel and 17 Motels units. TVs and fridges in all rooms.It also has 2 x outdoor swimming pools (heated in winter) and 1 private Spa pool. Four Canoes legendary Restaurant is open daily for breakfast. Restaurant is open for Lunch and Dinner by arrangement only. We cater for all types of functions, 21st Birthdays, Weddings, Birthdays and Xmas Functions. | Getting There |
Located on the main road through Rotorua Fenton Street is otherwise known as 'Hotel Mile'. From North Auckland to Rotorua, 3 hours. Take Highway 1 south via Hamilton, Cambridge, Tirau - approx 3.5kms past Tirau turn left on to State Highway 5 to Rotorua you will come in on Fairy Springs Road, you will pass Rainbow Springs and Skyline Skyrides on your right. Follow this road turning left at Pukuatua Street which follows through on to Amohau Street. Follow through and turn right on to Fenton Street ( MacDonalds is on the right hand corner ). Follow Fenton Street for approximately 1 km south. Four Canoes is situated on the right hand side opposite the racecourse. From South Taupo to Rotorua, 1 hour Take Highway 1 north, proceed to Highway 5 approximately 11kms from Taupo continuing to Rotorua for approximately 1 hour. As you enter into Rotorua you will flow into Fenton Street. Four Canoes Hotel is on the left approximately 1.5 km from the entrance to Rotorua. |
