Our room options vary from modern self contained family suites to character villa rooms for couples. Our sunny and spacious environment has a fantastic pool and barbecue area to sit and relax. We recommend the Daily Wine and Garden Tours by Warkworth Tours, this is a great way to explore the Matakana coast and wine country. The Saturday morning markets in Matakana next to the riverside is for everyone. Great to see all the fresh produce, arts and crafts including great white bait fritters. So many things to do and see you will have to stay a while: Brick Bay Sculpture trail, Cruises to Kawau Island, Goat Island marine reserve with snorkelling and scuba diving or glass bottom boat trips. And there is sooo much more: Fishing and diving charters, mini Golf, scenic flights, horse trekking, giant kauri trees and museum, honey centre, sheep world, 4 regional parks, sea kayaking and canoeing, surf beaches and safe family beaches, tramping and walking tracks, thermal hot pools, historic bohemian village, 4WD adventures, golf driving range and auto cricket, Wine tastings, 2 boutique cinemas, fresh fruit ice cream parlour and much much more! |
