Pacific Harbour Lodge is a cluster of island style Chalets set among tropical vegetation and the tranquil tidal waters of the Tairua harbour. We are centrally located in the quaint village of Tairua with restaurant options and shopping all within a short walk. Each room features Wifi internet access, Sky TV, room service, mini bar, equipped kitchen, iron and hairdryer. Located 20 minutes only from some of the most famous New Zealand attractions: Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. Onsite guest laundry, restaurants, cafes, business centre, guest bikes, shops, gallery and shuttle service available. There are many activities available: from sea kayaking and scenic boat rides to exploring the lush native habitat or simply enjoying one of the many white sand beaches.
In your en suite room, you will enjoy a King or Queen sized bed with a comfy feather duvet, a full kitchen unit and a large deck with outdoor furniture. The cosy resort town of Tairua is a leisurely 2-3 hour drive from Auckland, Hamilton or Rotorua on sealed and scenic highways and is a perfect spot to start or end your holiday.
From Tairua, visitors can explore the coastline north and south to the many beaches and hidden coves the make the Coromandel Peninsula so unique. The famous Hotwater beach, where you can dig your own hot pool at low tide, is a short 20minute drive away along with the iconic Cathedral Cove 5 minutes further.
