Mayfield Motel is only a 2 minute walk to the local club for great meals (moderately priced) Opposite Woolworths Warabrook; 5 minutes drive to Newcastle University, Mater Hospital, Hamilton TAFE and Mayfield Superstrike (tenpin bowling). Only 10 minutes away is John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle CBD, beaches & Harbour Foreshore, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Energy Australia Stadium (home of the Newcastle Knights), with Stevenson Park right behind the motel for all sporting activities or just going for a walk, etc. Within 15 minutes you will find 3 major shopping centres: Stockland Jesmond, Westfield Kotara, and Charlestown Square. We are only 20 minutes from Newcastle Airport, which runs a shuttle bus service to the suburbs and CBD. |

Driving northwards from Sydney on the F3, go to the end of the freeway, turn right onto New England H'way which becomes Pacific H'way at Hexham. Follow the highway to Mayfield (approx. 10 minutes). Coming from the north, follow Pacific Highway to Hexham, where the highway turns left over the Hunter River towards Newcastle. We are the 1st Motel on the left (near traffic lights) as you enter Mayfield (approx. 10 minutes from Hexham) |
