Pipinui Motel was built in 2002. It has 4 luxury self contained units consisting of two studio, and two 1-bedroom units. These very quiet, private and spacious units are located only 200 metres from the harbour, boat ramp and new marina, and only 700 metres from the main surf beach, wharf, restaurants and shops. Our units consist of fully equipped modern kitchens, separate spacious bathrooms with roomy showers, and TVs with Sky movies and sports channels. They have single, queen or king sized beds with electric blankets, iron and ironing boards, individual decks and own car park. All are tastefully decorated to make your stay comfortable and memorable. |

This apartment is at 613 Beach Rd, 5 mins walk from Pipinui Motel, and is operated as part of our complex. It's on the harbour front and across the road from our new marina,15 minutes walk to town and wharf. Check-in is at Pipinui Motel,805 Martyn Rd. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $85.00. Extra children $65.00. The room caters for a maximum of 6 adults, and a maximum of 4 children but cannot exceed 6 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
Pipinui Motel is located in the small east coast beach resort of Whangamata on the Coromandel Peninsula, just 2 hours southeast of Auckland. Heading from this direction, as you come into Whangamata, cross the causeway bridge and turn left onto Martyn Road at the roundabout. We are 100 metres along on the left. Heading from the west (through Waihi), drive through the main street (Port Rd)to the last roundabout, turn left onto Hetherington Rd, then turn right at the next roundabout onto Martyn Rd: we are 100 metres along on the left. Look for the PIPINUI sign and come on in! |
| Parking |
Guests have own individual car park outside each unit. We have a separate area for parking boats, jetskis etc., and a lock-up garage for bikes. Extra parking can be located on the street directly outside the motel for visitors at no cost. |

Whangamata is a beach resort embracing the remarkable combination of magnificent native and exotic forests for tramping, walking and mountain bike riding, beautiful beaches and a sparkling ocean for activities such as swimming , surfing, sailing, wind surfing, boating, kayaking, diving and fishing. Whangamata also has an extensive shopping centre, restaurants, bars and great sporting facilities including golf courses, tennis courts, squash courts, bowling greens, and gym facilities etc. Whangamata is also famous for its annual events that include the Beach Hop (Hot Rod Show in April), Whanga Week, Jazz Blues and Art Festival, and Summer Festival during December/January. |
