We offer panoramic sea views across the Bay of Islands and we are ideally located in a prime location on Paihia's exclusive waterfront and being just 200 metres from the centre of the Village we really are in the true heart of the Bay of Islands. Abel Tasman Lodge is uniquely nestled against a bush clad reserve (The Bluff) on one side, with Paihia's Wharf and Central Township (Williams Rd) just a short 1-2 minute stroll along the waterfront to the right. The Abel Tasman Lodge, with it's choice of accommodation, (21 of our 25 units have superb sea views, and our 15 water front 1 bedroom apartments are just that-any closer to the sea and you'd fall in!) makes an ideal location from where to base yourself in comfort and explore the many delights of the Bay of Islands and Northland. Or, if you prefer, just relax, enjoy the panoramic sea views and watch the world go by from your balcony or one of the many fine restaurants and cafes in this bustling holiday village. |

Arrive in Paihia from the South, drive along the sea front and Abel Tasman Lodge is on your left 200 meters after the village centre. From the Northarrive on the sea front, round the rocky bluff and Abel Tasman is on the right- facing The Bay! |

Paihia is the hub of the Bay of Islands and there are many , many attractions, from Action World where you can fly the only high trapeze in the world with no safety line!- to deep sea fishiong and 90 mile beach and quads, and horses and diving the Rainbow warrior etc etc.. |
