We offer 4 brand new luxurious appointed, self-catering cottages, each with a fully equipped chefs kitchen, marble benches, oven,microwave, cooktop, fridge, dishwash. The bathroom features a claw foot slipper bath & a seperate shower. Each cottage is styled with French provincial furnishings and has a selection of Estate produce, including olives, fetta & Antipasto, & award winning Riversdale Pinot & Chardonnay to enjoy. The cottages have inviting spaces, lounges that ooze comfort, mohair rugs to snuggle up in, CD selection to choose from, boutique library & current magazines to flick thru, whilst enjoying the panoramic water views. Riversdale Estate is only 15 mins from Hobart CBD, or 10 mins to the historic Georgian village of Richmond. You will wake up to a musical treat from the scores of native birds, then relax with breakfast on your verandah overlooking picture postcard countryside. We welcome families - each cottage has a range of children's books, board games, puzzles, coloring pencils, along with a picnic basket, rug & thermos to pack and walk down to the Riversdale beach. The property offers a self-guided walk to the beach, with interesting facts and an "I Spy" sheet for the children to spot different things on the property. For the adults, there is a guided history of the vineyard and plantings & in each cottage a short history of the Estate families history & paintings by Internationally acclaimed artist Thomas Andersen, depiciting the history and current activities on the Estate. A selection of gourmet goodies, including olives, fetta & wines are available in each cottage to tempt the palate! The Estate motto is enjoy country life without sacrificing any comforts! Bedding configuration is a queen bed & two single beds. Sep shower & sep slipper bath. Lounge,(flatscreen DVD, LCD, CD). Pre-order & buy delicious hamper to enjoy on verandah. Rates are for 2 people. Extra adults $25.00. Extra children $25.00. The room caters for a maximum of 4 adults, and a maximum of 3 children but cannot exceed 5 guests in total. Available bedding configurations:

Travelling from Hobart; Head across the Tasman Bridge following the signs to the Hobart Airport. Take a left hand turn into Cambridge/Richmond. At the Cambridge intersection, turn left onto Richmond Road and look out for Riversdale Estate Cottages approx 4km along. Travelling from Hobart Aiport; Turn left onto the Tasman Hwy, then take the left hand turn onto Cambridge/Richmond and follow the signs into Cambridge. At the Cambridge intersection turn right and keep an eye out for Riversdale Estate Cottages approx 4km along. |
