By car The hotel is easily reachable by the motorway A1, exit Firenze Sud. On the first traffic light, turn left at the Ponte da Verrazzano bridge, and follow the indications for Palazzo Pitti. By train From the Santa Maria Novella railway station, take the bus line n.23 and get off at the first stop after the river Arno. By airplane From the Florence airport, take a taxi leading you to the hotel in about 30 minutes or the shuttle service leading you the Santa Maria Novella railway station. |

From the Hotel Silla to the historic centre Only a few steps away from the hotel (a one minute walk) you can reach the Ponte alle Grazie: once you have crossed the bridge, you find yourself in the centre of the architectural structures and works of art that have made Florence famous all over the world. Or in less than 5 minutes on foot you can arrive at the Ponte Vecchio on the Arno, a mandatory stop on every itinerary in the Tuscan capital. From here it is only a short walk to arrive at one of the most famous Florentine buildings: Palazzo Pitti, which is only 300 meters away. The hotel is only one kilometre away from the Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of the Medieval City and that of today, with its celebrated Palazzo Vecchio. From here you can immediately access the Galleria degli Uffizi, which safeguards precious antique sculptures and paintings of various Italian and foreign masters. |
