Original homestead, now on 1½ hectare bush property, overlooking Noosa and the Great Sandy National Parks. Features include a wet edge, 12 metre pool; gardens and a large variety of birds by day and frogs by night. Remoteness from city lights provides dark, starry night skies. We offer clean queen and double rooms with 1920's character, veranda access, ensuite, comfortable beds and sumptuous breakfasts. Evening meals can also be provided by arrangement. Two rooms open onto eastern veranda. One opens onto north facing veranda. One opens onto south facing veranda.

Your hosts will have lots of suggestions about places to go and things to do. We can even help with identifying birds and frogs, constellations and the planets. The Homestead also has a modest DVD and video library as well as a literature library for your pleasure. A guest refrigerator and lounge room is also available for your stay. We are close to fine restaurants in Pomona, Cooran, Cooroy, Noosaville, and Noosa Heads.

Rest assured your host and hostess have your comfort and satisfaction in mind.

Comfortable queen room with ensuite and access to east facing veranda. Character in line with original Queenslander construction. Hair drier, heater in room. Ceiling fan and cool sea breezes. Use of 12m, infinity pool with view. Wonderful breakfasts.
Rates are for 2 people. The room caters for a maximum of 2 adults, and a maximum of 1 child but cannot exceed 3 guests in total.

Getting There	From the south (Brisbane): Travel north on Bruce Highway 7km past the Cooroy turnoff to the Black Mountain exit on the left. Drive 1.6km to Cudgerie Drive and turn left. Cudgerie Homestead is the third driveway on the right. From the north (Gympie): Travel on Bruce Highway about 1½ km past the second Pomona exit (Pioneer Drive). Take the exit left to Noosa and Cooroy. At the first intersection, turn right. Go under the highway overpass, through the roundabout and up the hill on Cudgerie Drive. Cudgerie Homestead is the first driveway on the left just past the intersection with Foambark Place. From the east (Noosa): Travel on the Noosa-Cooroy road from Noosa to the T intersection on Elm Street in Cooroy. Turn right at the service station, travel past the primary school and drive towards the Pomona turnoff. Do not take the Pomona turnoff but continue on Elm Street over the railway line, under the highway overpass and through the roundabout, up the hill on Cudgerie Drive. Cudgerie Homestead is the first driveway on the left just past the intersection with Foambark Place. If you come to Cooroy by train or bus, just call us ahead of time and we will gladly collect you at the station.
