Jandas Lakeview Jandas Lake View is a rural retreat of over 30 acres which is hidden away amongst the Barossa foothills near Eden Valley and not far past the scenic lookout of Menglers Hill. With 3 cellar doors 5km away in Eden Valley and 10-15kms will have you at some of the leading Barossa Cellar Doors, this is a perfect location to base yourself. Guests are welcome to explore this natural piece of paradise, or simply relax under the veranda with a glass of wine or down on the water on the lake’s pontoon. Relax outisde in the heated spa pool located under the veranda overlooking the lake. Large river gums, moss rocks and assorted shrubs frame the tranquil setting of the cottage and lake, which is constantly visited by wild native fauna and bird life. A wonderful place to relax and recharge in complete privacy just 15 minutes drive from Tanunda and 10 minutes drive from Angaston. Both Tanunda and Angaston have award-wining restaurants, such as Vintners, Salters and 1918 This property comprises of three bedrooms. Two Queen Bedrooms with views overlooking the lake and a third twin single bedroom. Inside the living area is a cosy log fireplace, while a reverse cycle air conditioner ensures comfortable temperatures all year round. The kitchen is well serviced with full facilities of oven, hot plates, microwave and cooking utensils etc. A hooded BBQ under the veranda allows for outdoor cooking. Also at the property is a selection of magazines, books, games, TV, DVD player and CD player together with a selection of DVD’s & CD’s for guest’s entertainment, but please feel free to bring your own! Angaston Tudor A 1920’s cottage, located in Angaston, is a charming large self-contained three-bedroom property, which offers exclusive occupancy for 2 to 6 people. Its location perfectly positioned on Angaston’s main street where you will be able to walk to restaurants, cafes and to enjoy wine and cheese tasting by leaving the car behind. Angaston Tudor has first class comforts, 3 Queen size bedrooms, the main bedroom with a ensuite bathroom, also featuring a heated in ground pool, spa bath, log fire, reverse cycle ducted air-conditioning and many years of hand collected antique wares. Enjoy the large TV in the lounge room with views of the outside pool. Or relax in the sitting room and read a book. Thirty on College In the heart of Tanunda - originally built in 1915, now lovingly and tastefully restored – highlighting the simplicity of the architecture giving you an insight into the manner in which life was and has now developed here in the beautiful Barossa. Perfect location to explore all that the Barossa has to offer – perfect for two or share with friends or family. Breathe, chill, eat and drink. Enjoy all the Barossa has to offer! Fully self-contained with a quaint country kitchen, reverse cycle air conditioning, log fire, featuring polished floor boards through out. Walking distance to the main street of Tanunda and to Para Road wineries. The bathroom is a two way bathroom with the master bedroom, simply stunning complete with a luxury spa bath, candles and a flat screen TV to watch while soaking in the bath! There is also a second toilet in the sun room. The lounge room has a lovely comfortable feel, relax in front of the combustion wood fire in winter with a glass of complimentary port! Find a range of magazines and books to chill out with. This property boasts 3 large bedrooms, the master bedroom has a leather king size bed and private access to the bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and the 3rd bedroom can either be 2 singles or a queen size. The sunroom at the back of the property has a lovely views over gum trees along a creek bed, this room has a comfy day bed to watch the day go by, or just curl up with a good book. A delightful relaxing getaway. Merellaan Located in a beautiful area of Tanunda and surrounded by gardens Merellann is central to restaurants and wineries. This lovely older style home is decorated in a contemporary style and is fully self catering and can accommodate 6 guests. Features quality furnishings, high ceilings, open plan kitchen with dishwasher and flat screen tv with foxtel. The house has 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen 2 singles and a trundle) Outside area has a lovely grassed section with an area of cottage gardens. There is a child’s cubby house, sand pit and swing. Enjoy this lovely location, perfect for 2 or an escape with friends and family a great place to enjoy the great food and wines of the Barossa region. BREAKFAST PROVISIONS We leave ample supply of provisions for your stay, continental breakfast provisions are supplied which consist of fresh bread, selections jams, margarine & butter, a selection of cereals, fresh orange juice, fresh bowl of fruit, along with a selection of twining teas, instant coffee, plunger coffee, white and brown sugar and of course a biscuit barrel to enjoy a biscuit with your cuppa! Also supplied is a decanter of port along with some chocolates. If you would like provisions for a fully cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs and tomatoes an extra cost of $10.00 / day for two people. JANDAS LAKEVIEW Directions from Gawler From Main North Rd, follow the Gawler By-pass (continue straight ahead) to avoid Gawler. Continue along this road (Sturt Hwy) for approx 13 kms. Turn RIGHT onto Gomersal Rd, heading towards Tanunda. Follow this road for approx 15 kms into Tanunda At the end of Gomersal Road Turn RIGHT onto Barossa Valley Way, then immediately follow the road STRAIGHT onto Bethany Road (do not veer right). Follow Bethany approx 4kms, then veer LEFT on the sharp bend. Continue for 1.5km until the Give Way Sign. This intersection joins a Long sweeping Bend to form the new road ahead. Continue straight, for approx 0.5 km, look for the sign to Menglers Hill Lookout & Scenic Drive. From Menglers Hill Scenic Drive Turn RIGHT onto Menglers Hill Road, continue along this road for approx 4kms. Look for the sign to Kaiser Stuhl Conservation Park, turn RIGHT onto Tanunda Creek Road. Continue along this road until it ends, around 5.5kms (sharp Left bend near the end of this road) Turn RIGHT onto Flaxmans Valley Road. After 1km this road takes a sharp turn to the LEFT. Continue for appox 3.5kms and toward the bottom of the hill look for the sign to Hilsenitz Road, a gravel road. Turn RIGHT onto Hilsenitz Road, continue along this road for 500m, look for the Drive Way to the B&B on the RIGHT. The entry has a distinctive high timber fence, painted white. Your B&B awaits at the end of the Driveway. Directions from Angaston From the Town Centre, follow Murray St, up hill to the end. Turn RIGHT onto North St, heading towards Yalumba Wines & Collingrove Estate. From Angaston, travel approx 14kms to the turn off. DO NOT turn Right onto the first option for Flaxmans Valley Road. Continue past the historic Collingrove Homestead. Approx 7kms after the Homestead turn RIGHT onto Flaxmans Valley Road. Follow this road for 1km, then turn LEFT onto Hilsenitz Road, a gravel road. Continue along this road for 500m, look for the Driveway to Lake View B&B on the RIGHT. The entry has a distinctive high timber fence, painted white. Your B&B awaits at the end of the Driveway. ANGASTON TUDOR Directions: From Gawler From Main North Rd, follow the Gawler By-pass (veer LEFT) to avoid Gawler. Continue along this road (Sturt Hwy) for approximately 13kms. Turn RIGHT onto Gomersal Rd, heading towards Tanunda. Follow this road for approximately 15kms directly into Tanunda. Enter the town of Tanunda and follow the main road through Tanunda. Follow the Barossa Valley Highway until you reach the town of Nuriootpa. Look for Penfolds / Southcorp winery on the LHS. Then look for the next turning on the RHS – Railway Terrace. Turn RIGHT onto Railway Terrace and travel approximately 5km until you reach Angaston, this road becomes ‘Angaston Road’. Once you enter the town of Angaston look for the large Church on the RHS (Zion Lutheran Church). Angaston Tudor is located on the RHS immediately after the church and has a small sign displayed near the driveway entry. Alternative Route - Drive through Gawler, near the end of the main street look for the sign to LYNDOCH. Turn RIGHT and travel up the hill out of Gawler, follow this road, (The Barossa Valley Way) through Sandy Creek, Lyndoch, Rowland Flat and directly into Tanunda. Once in Tanunda, follow the same directions as noted above. MERELLAAN Directions: From Gawler From Main North Rd, follow the Gawler By-pass (veer LEFT) to avoid Gawler. Continue along this road (Sturt Hwy) for approximately 13kms. Turn RIGHT onto Gomersal Rd, heading towards Tanunda. Follow this road for approximately 15kms directly into Tanunda. Enter the town of Tanunda and as you are driving down the main street of Tanunda (Murray St) you will travel past the Information Centre on the LHS situated at traffic lights. Then look for the 7th turning on the LHS - Angas St. Turn LEFT onto Angas St drive down to the very end of the street. Merellaan is the last house on the right hand side. Corner of Langmeil and Angas. The drive way is on Angas St. Alternative Route - Drive through Gawler, near the end of the main street look for the sign to LYNDOCH. Turn RIGHT and travel up the hill out of Gawler, follow this road, (The Barossa Valley Way) through Sandy Creek, Lyndoch, Rowland Flat and directly into Tanunda. Once in Tanunda, follow the same directions as noted above. THIRTY ON COLLEGE From Main North Rd, follow the Gawler By-pass (continue straight ahead) to avoid Gawler. Continue along this road (Sturt Hwy) for approximately 13kms. Turn RIGHT onto Gomersal Rd, Heading towards Tanunda. Follow this road for approximately 15kms into Tanunda. Enter the town of Tanunda and drive for approximately 2kms to College St. Travel past the Information Centre on the LHS situated at traffic lights. Then look for the 4th turning on the LHS – College ST. Turn LEFT onto College St and travel approximately 400m. Thirty on College is located on the RHS. Off Street parking is available by entering the driveway to the LHS of the B&B. Alternative Route – Drive through Gawler, near the end of the main street look for the sign to LYNDOCH. Turn RIGHT and travel up the hill out of Gawler, follow this road, (The Barossa Valley Way) through Sandy Creek, Lyndoch, Rowland Flat and directly into Tanunda. Once in Tanunda follow the same directions as noted above. |

| Things To Do |
The farmers Market. This is held every Saturday morning at Angaston from 7.30am, this is where the locals go to buy fresh produce, a great selection of organic and home grown produce along with free range meats. A short drive out of Eden Valley there are fine dining restaurants such as Vintners, Bar Vinum, 1918, Salters, Kaeslers. Many of the wineries now have light lunches available. Eden Valley has the local Hotel for a good pub meal if you don't want to venture to far away. |
