Built of rammed earth in a style uniquely Outback Australian, the Mud Hut Motel offers excellent 3 1/2 and 4 star accommodation at reasonable prices. Built in 1993, the motel provides quiet, friendly accommodation in the heart of Opal Country - Coober Pedy, SA.
24 of our rooms are 3 1/2 star spacious motel style - ensuite, queen beds, TV, direct dial phones, tea & coffee making, fridge - comfortably sleeping a family of 4.
4 of our rooms are 4 star 2 bedroom apartments with cooking facilites, separate toilet and bathroom, and lounge are. Comfortably sleeping up to 6.
Parking is outside each door, we have a laundry on site, hire car available, and quality opal sales.
