Studio, 1 Bedroom, and Honeymoon Suite, all non-smoking with parking directly outside your unit. All units have full kitchens, SKY/TV/Teletext/DVD's, and high speed internet. Free use of summer solar heated swimming pool and gas barbecues. Guest laundry is available on site. Courtesy airport/train vehicle is available by arrangement. We offer Cooked/Continental breakfast. King and queen size beds. The Sundowner Motel is centrally located 25 minutes from the Inter-Island ferry terminal, 5 minutes from the Airport and 5 minutes from the Blenheim town centre. |

From Christchurch heading to Picton, stay on SH1 until you reach the round-about signposted Nelson/West Coast - this is then SH6, and we are 1.5 km from the SH1 turnoff, on the right hand side directly opposite Springlands Shopping Centre. From Picton to Christchurch on SH1, turning right at the first round-about will take you onto SH6, and we are 1.5 km on the right hand side directly opposite Springlands Shopping Centre. From the West Coast, Nelson and Airport, as you enter Blenheim's 50 km sign area, we are about 1 km inside the 50 km area on the left hand side. Directly opposite the Springlands Shopping Complex. |

Visit the many wineries, gardens, walkways including the Wither Hills Farm Park walk and cycle tracks and the Queen Charlotte Track or take a boat cruise through the Marlborough Sounds. With Marlborough's high sunshine hours you can enjoy the abundance of outdoor activities, including golf, rugby, tennis, cycling, cricket, netball, croquet or go horse racing at Waterlea Racecourse. With Blenheim producing over 40% of New Zealand's wine, you can enjoy one of the many wine tours and if arts and craft appeal, enjoy the Marlborough and Millennium galleries and the arts and craft trail. Marlborough has an extensive range of fine restaurants for lunch and evening dining serving locally produced salmon, green-shelled mussels, crayfish, vension through to export-grade cherries and olives.
