Lake Rotoiti Lodge offers luxurious comfort in a serene setting overlooking lake and bush. There is a self-contained unit with splittable super king bed and a double bed-setee in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped and a barbecue is provided. All linen is also provided. The Tui room has views of bush and lake and a king bed, along with TV, radio/CD player, table and chairs. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate provisions are provided in each room. The roomy ensuite with heated towel rail and hairdryer compliments this room. The Keruru room is very large and has views over the main body of the lake as well as views of the other side of the lake towards the Kaituna River. There are table, chairs and couch provided for your comfort along with TV, radio/CD player and tea/coffee/hot chocolate facilities. A dressing room separates the bedroom from the bathroom which is complete with spa bath, separate shower, double basins, heated towel rails and hair drier - not to mention fantastic lake views. Refreshments are provided on your arrival and a bottle of wine will await you in your room. A continental or hearty cooked breakfast will be served either in your room, in the dining room or on the sunny deck - whichever you choose. A home cooked dinner can be provided at an extra charge, by arrangement. We will be happy to supply the ingredients for you to prepare your own barbecue on the deck if you so wish. A short walk down the track will bring you to a grassed reserve on the water edge where you can use one of the kayaks to explore the lake if you so wish. Why not request one of our picnic hampers to take along with you? A continental or hearty cooked breakfast is provided. You have the option of having it served in your room, in the dining room or on the sunny deck. |

| Getting There |
From Rotorua: Head northeast towards Tauranga on Te Ngae Rd. Continue on SH33 for approximately 9 km, over the Okere Falls bridge and right into Taheke Rd. Left at Okere Rd, right into Te Akau Rd and Benham Rd is about 1.5 km on the left. If coming from Tauranga, travel towards Rotorua, left into Okere Rd, left into Te Akau Rd and proceed as above. |

Lake Rotoiti Lodge is only 20-25 mins from Rotorua with all its Maori, thermal and tourist attractions including Rainbow Springs, Agrodome, Skyline Skyrides, etc. If refreshments are what you are after, Rotorua offers numerous fine cafes, restaurant and bars. The Rotorua lake front is a relaxing place to just sit and relax and watch the swans. On a more energetic note, there are ample walking tracks in this area, one of the more popular ones being Redwood Grove. Cycling tracks are also provided there. Only five minutes from Lake Rotoiti Lodge are the Okere Falls where white-water rafting or kayaking is available. Perhaps you would like to finish off your day with a soak at the Polynesian Pools or a mudbath at Hell's Gate WaiOra Spa. We can make all the necessary arrangements for you. |
