The Rex hotel is located in Gran Via, between Plaza de Espana and Plaza Callao. It is close to the main museums and the historical city center of Madrid. Its excellent public transportation connections, make it the ideal base for visiting Madrid's main attractions. The hotel was refurbished in 2004. The Rex Hotel has 145 rooms including 115 double rooms and 30 single rooms. The majority have views over Gran Vía and all of them are equipped with a private complete bathroom (with hairdryer), mini-bar, air conditioning, satellite TV and safe deposit box.
