The Longreach Motel is the most conveniently located motel in Longreach, within 300 metres of all banks, Post Office, Supermarket, Cinema, Restaurants and shops. The Longreach Motel is located 300 metres South of the Post Office, in the main street. The Longreach Motel is only 150 metres from the Bus Depot. All units are ground floor, and have covered parking in front of the unit. Free wireless internet is also available.

Getting There	There are daily Flights into Longreach from Brisbane, and up to four days a week from other capital cities. There are two train services a week from Brisbane and Rockhampton. Alternately, there are sealed Highways if you are driving your own vehicle. If travelling along the Landsborough Highway from either Winton or Barcaldine, turn into the main street (Eagle St) at the oblong Roundabout. Procede through two further roundabouts, and we are on the right, halfway between the second and third roundabouts. From the airport and railway stations, drive to town, turning left into the main street at the oblong roundabout. Procede through the next two roundabouts, then the motel is halfway betwwen the second and third roundabouts on the right. Just past Westpac.

Things To Do	Longreach is not the sort of town you can see in one day. There are many things to see and do in Longreach. The most well known are the "Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame", which higlights our rural heritage. The "Qantas Outback Founders Museum" has good displays on early Qantas, and a tour through a retired 747 and 707 are highly recommended. The Longreach Powerhouse Museum displays Longreach's social history. There are also outback vistas, Starlights Lookout, Riverboat cruises on the Thomson River, and a number of local scenic drives, to name a few.
