How to Find Us: Thank you for choosing to stay with us here at the Vintners Retreat. Arriving on the Ferry and Driving from Picton When travelling towards Blenheim from Picton you will come to a junction called Spring Creek, approximately 20 minutes from Picton, just past the Wairau River. Turn right into Rapaura Road. Our Villas (55 Rapaura rd) are located on the right hand side at the end of this road (300metres from the end of this road). Driving from Nelson Blenheim is approximately 1hour 30minute drive from Nelson. As you cross the Wairau River Bridge, take the next left into Rapaura Road. The Villas (55 Rapaura Rd) are located on the left hand side approximately 300 metres from the corner. There are 2 very large Gum Trees located just outside our entrance. Driving from Blenheim Airport If you are driving from the Blenheim Airport you turn left when leaving the main entrance to the Airport. This is State highway 6, the main road to Nelson. Keep driving to the next suburb called Renwick. Go through Renwick and head approx 1-2km north on State Highway 6 turn right into Rapaura Road. The Villas (55 Rapaura Rd) are located on the left hand side approximately 300 metres from the corner. There are 2 very large Gum Trees located just outside the entrance. Driving from Christchurch/Kaikoura Blenheim is approximately 4hours drive from Christchurch and 1hour 30 minutes drive from Kaikoura. If driving from Christchurch/Kaikoura drive down Main street until you come to the first roundabout (with a railway lines running through the middle). Turn right at this roundabout, then turn left at the Nelson Street Roundabout. This is the third roundabout you come to. Drive straight through the next roundabout and keep heading straight out of Blenheim towards the Airport. This is State highway 6, the main road to Nelson. Keep driving to the next town, called Renwick. Go through Renwick and head approx. 1-2km north on State Highway 6, then turn right onto Rapaura Rd. The Villas (55 Rapaura Rd) are located on the left hand side approximately 300 metres from the corner. There are 2 very large Gum Trees located just outside the entrance. |
