All apartments overlook beautiful Moreton Island. Enjoy fully self contained comfort that includes Cable TV & Broadband. The property includes lift access with undercover secure parking,a saltwater pool and BBQ entertaining area. Nearby is a patrolled surf beach and we are just under 1 hour by road from Brisbane. Bribie Island bathes in sunshine for most of the year due to the sub-tropical climate. On The Beach is the perfect holiday for those wanting something different. General Information The Island is 35 km long and approx 7 kms wide with 5 small townships at the southern tip. Connected to the mainland by bridge across the Pumistone Passage, Bribie Island is surrounded by soft sandy beaches with safe family swimming. Enjoy the patrolled surf beach and glimpse the dolphins cruising the shores playing and in search of food. Much of the islands coastline is National Park accessable by 4WD with the required permit, enjoy over 30 kms of unspoilt beach freshwater lagoons and natural bush within the National Park. | Getting There |
By road take the Bruce Highway north out of Brisbane following signs for the Sunshine Coast. Travel for approx 47kms north and take the Bribie Island exit. Bribie Island is approx 20 kms from the highway across the bridge. By air, the Brisbane Airport is less than 1 hr from Bribie Island. Transfers from the Airport are through Bribie Limousines for door to airport or visa versa. Public transport is also available. Take the Airtrain from the Domestic or International Terminal to Eagle Junction. Change trains to Caboolture station then catch the bus from the station to Bribie Island. The Woorim North Street bus stop is in front of On The Beach Resort. |
