We have 4 fully self contained mountain cabins located 10 minutes from Maitland and 30 minutes from Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. Our cabins are all private and blend into the mountain. All cabins are air conditioned, with Jacuzzis on verandas or spa bath in the Olive Cottage, wood fires, BBQ, out door settings, large private verandas, linen provided and fantastic views. All cabins have fridge, freezer, microwave, TV, DVD player, CD player. We have on the mountain, full day spa, tennis, fishing, bushwalking, winery tours from your cabin and wine sales. Our cabins are The Rock house sleeps up to 6 people, The Bluegum sleeps up to 6 people, the Cedar sleeps up to 6 people and the Olive Cottage which sleeps 2 people. Restaurants are 15 minutes away and we can organise reservations for you. |

IRONBARK LODGE
Rates are for 10 people. Maximum occupancy is 10. Master bedroom has Queen bed and ensuite. Bedroom 2 has queen bed. Bedroom 3 has queen bed. Bedroom 4 has 2 singles. Sofa-bed also available. Rates are for 10 people. The room caters for a maximum of 10 adults, and a maximum of 9 children but cannot exceed 10 guests in total. The following bedding is provided:

| Getting There |
By Car: From Sydney follow the F3 freeway north to Maitland. Go to the end of the freeway and turn left at the New England Highway to Maitland. (Follow signs). Go through the round about at Maitland Railway Station and follow the signs to Singleton and Muswellbrook. At the next round about follow signs to Singleton and Muswellbrook and continue 1 km to a set of traffic lights at Aberglasslyn Road. Turn right here at Aberglasslyn Road (Rutherford Hotel and O'Neils Tyres on the corner); continue along this road 4 km to Melville Ford Bridge. Go over this wooden bridge and turn left. Travel a further 3 km and arrive at a T intersection at Maitland Vale Road. Turn left here into Maitland Vale Road. Travel 4 km along Maitland Vale Road to Hunter River Retreat entrance at 1090 Maitland Vale Road Rosebrook. There is a street light at the entrance and 2 wine barrel letter boxes on the right hand side of the road. Go over the cattle grid past the wine shed and go straight ahead, follow the sign to Office and cottages. All cabins and Office are sign posted. Coming from the north on New England Highway turn left onto Aberglasslyn Road. |

We are close to the Hunter Valley Wine Country, historic Maitland, Newcastle and Nelsons Bay. Our Bohemian Day Spa has wonderful packages or individual treatments available. Appointments essential. |
