On 2 levels Upper level is a luxury dwelling with 3 bedrooms,1 with en-suite shower room, Family bathroom with spa bath, and large living area featuring open fire place, under floor heating, air conditioning and a swimming pool, and decking all under cover. Laundry with washer and dryer is in the Family bathroom. The kitchen is stunning and topped with Italian granite and boasts a huge double door fridge freezer with filtered water and ice on tap. Verandas at the front and rear of the property take advantage of the stunning views over the Bay of Islands towards Waitangi and in the other direction, back up the Opua channel. The BBQ area is adjacent to the pool and is soaked in sunshine as the sun sets over The Bay of Islands and Waitangi. The house is fitted to an exceptionally high standard through out and the 50 inch plasma TV and theatre surround sound help to make staying in a delight! Lower level has a garage, access to the lift to get to the upper floor Lodge making access easy. The Nest is a fully self contained 1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen, bedroom and Shower room and an area for 2 further single beds or sofa bed. Similarly fitted to a very high standard, with stunning views over the Opua Channel. There is an out house with laundry and storage and a patio with BBQ and seating. Ample parking is available, 3 spaces in front of the property and 4 further spaces opposite the front elevation. The whole property has been totally refitted and redecorated in the last 2 years to a very high standard with granite kitchens, marble flooring, and tiling everywhere! The swimming pool is off the main lounge area of the Lodge and is covered by glass panelling- it is also heated. |

Binnie Street is on the right as you enter Paihia, pass the Beachcomber Resort, drive up the hill and turn right at the crest of the hill. Swallows Nest is on the Left up Panorama Avenue, the left fork 150 metres up Binnie street. From the north, follow the main road through Paihia and when the road turns away from the sea, drive to the top of the hill and turn left at the creast into Binnie Street. 150 metres up take the left fork, Swallows Nest is on the left. |
