The Westshore Beach Inn is a family owned and operated property just 50 metres from Westshore Beach (Napiers only safe swimming Beach), a short 5-minute drive to the downtown Art Deco district, Napier and 1km from the West Quay restaurant area. Access to link roads for all the wineries are just 150 metres down the road. Great reasons to stay are; 1-Our Studios and Chalets are stand alone and the most private accomodation of its type. 2-There is absolutely NO road noise as you find in most accomodation 3-Parking is right next door to the Chalets and Studios 4-The two bedroom Chalets are well suited to families. 5-The Food & Beverage operations all operate off "Solar powered hot water" 6-As you will see from photos accomodation is well away from Food & Beverage Inn-Which has many child friendly meals. Recently "decorated" Bistro Chef Marty Clarkson leads a small team. We recently scoped the "Hawkes Bay Signature Dish Best Service Award" and was "Runner up in the Casual Dish Category"!! Our well priced, premium local produce impressed the voters and judges. Comfortably settled in our pleasant,functional room, you're sure to have a good night's sleep. HISTORY The Westshore Hotel has been a resident of Westshore Beach community for approximately 180 years starting life as McKains Villers Accommodation House off the spit where a James McKain applied for a bush Licence to enable him to sell liquor at the House. The current Westshore Hotel can trace her roots back to this House whose licence was appeared in the “New Munster Gazette’ on 22 August 1851. Through various gues and reincarnations as; Ahuriri, The Ferry, Ferryman’s, and latterly The Westshore. Its current location can be traced back to a fire in the then named Ferry Hotel at The Spit bridge. The owners of The Ferry Hotel had to endure a lengthy court battle to keep the licence and to have the Hotel rebuilt. Eventually around 1925 the new Hotel was built at the junction of Meeanee Quay and Embankment Road and named The Westshore Hotel.(Inn) |

From the Airport-a short $7.50 taxi. Car from North; Turn first left pass Airport cross railway line we are on left. Car from South from Hastings; Look for Westshore turn off turnoff right AFTER Prebenson Drive, 100 metres on left. We can arrange FREE pick up from both Airport and Bus. 1 hour flight from Auckland/Wellington 1 kilometres from the Napier Airport. 3 Kilometres from Napier Art Deco District. 140 kilometres from Taupo by road. 322 kilometres from Wellington by road 420 kilomtres from Auckland by road 222 kilometres from Rotorua |

The Westshore Beach Inn has outstanding parking with 54 off-street parks on site and over 70 in carpark opposite-ALL PARKING IS FREE. Enough parking for buses if required. On-site parking is suitable for boats trailered sports cars. Park right outside your studio or chalet. |
