Natural hand crafted furniture compliments the interior, a sumptuous leather lounge suite set before a raised schist log fire creates the scene for intimate gatherings and engaging conversation on cold winter evenings. Accommodation comprises of a luxurious deluxe room and three superior rooms, each with unsurpassed alpine views and French doors that open onto private decks. All are lavishly furnished have king or queen beds, tiled ensuite with shower and slipper bath, quality linen, bathrobes, toiletries, flat screen TV, DVD player, wireless internet, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. An outdoor spa pool is positioned for privacy, to take full advantage of the view and the star studded skies, a welcome relief after a day of activities. From Queenstown travel along Gorge Road toward Coronet Peak for 4 kilometers. Watties Track is the first country lane/road on the right and is sign posted. The Canyons Lodge is the second driveway on the left down Watties Track. |

Queenstown is considered the adventure capital of the world and the Canyons Lodge is perfectly positioned to take advantage of all that is on offer with Coronet Peak Ski Field, Gibbston Valley Wineries, Arrowtown, Millbrook, and The Hills golf courses all within 20minutes, and The Remarkables and Cardrona Ski Fields less than an hour away. For Heli-Skiing, Heli-Sightseeing Tours to Fiordland, Milford and Doubtful Sounds and Hunting Excursions the lodge has direct helicopter access. |
