Gattonside (circa 1885) is a magnificent Victorian Mansion designed by Henry Hunter and opened as a luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation in 1999. We have 8 suites all with their own spa ensuite. One suite has facilities for people with mobility impairment. Gattonside is situated 1 km from the GPO and only a short stroll to Salamanca Place and some of Hobart's finest restaurants. GATTONSIDE is a non-smoking establishment however smoking is permitted in designated areas outside on the verandah & gardens. |

| Getting There |
From the Tasman Bridge, stay in the far left lane and follow it on to Davey Street. At St. Davids Park turn left from Davey Street into Sandy Bay Road and then drive approximately 500 metres and turn right into Gattonside. |

Gattonside has ample off street parking in our car park. Motorcycles can be locked away in our secure garages. |
| Things To Do |
GATTONSIDE is LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. We are on the fringe of the CBD and the famous restaurant strip in Hampden Road, Battery Point is just across the road to the left. It takes under 5 minutes to walk from Gattonside down to Salamanca Place where the famous markets are held on Saturday. We are located on Sandy Bay Road and are within walking distance to the waterfront, the yacht club and the casino. |
