The Avenue Motor Lodge welcomes visitors with affordable Christchurch accommodation conveniently located in the central city. We pride ourselves in enjoying tremendous amounts of repeat visitors. Friendly and helpful service is one of our strongest assets with comfortable rooms catering to all. At Avenue Motor Lodge, we offer 15 studio and 2 bedroom units which can sleep from 1-6 persons. Access facilities available. Units are serviced daily, tea and coffee making facilities, some with full kitchen facillties, microwave, fridge/freezer, bath, shower, queen size beds, phone, desk, Sky TV, video, DVD, stereo, wireless internet access, electric blankets, heating. Cot, highchair, ironing facilities, hair dryer also available on request. We also offer Continental breakfast & laundry service. Free off-street parking & monitored safe parking for motorcycles and bicycles. We are adjacent to Southern Cross Hospital, close to Christchurch Public Hospital (Approximately 1.5km) and Women's Hospital. 800m to Cathedral Square and city centre, 5min walk (400m) Convention Centre, Casino and Town Hall. Our motel is just on the corner of Colombo Street and Bealey Ave. Taxi costs from airport is about $35 and shuttle bus will drop guest to our door for $19 for 1 person and $4 for each extra person travelling together |
